Blog Depression
Finally ‘Blog Depression’ is over thanks to reading this phamplet over at The Nonist’s site. Besides spending the last month and a ½ in cyber-learning land, I have been doing not much of anything. The tide is turning and I feel more like being back in the world.
I think I am learning, again, to never say ‘I won’t do ——— this for a living’. I like design and especially web design, HTML & CSS, and I am learning Flash, the WWW stuff…not the Barry Allen stuff, though I wish I could work as fast as him. Since I have been doing this search to see who I am and what I really want to do with the rest of my life, I have been telling myself I do not want to do web design as a job, I love it, but not as a job.
It started last spring by helping my friend Jeff get his site going, is it online yet…Jeff? I have been working on my sister’s site, which we are now redoing as some gremlins were doing some weird computer stuff and stole my user info and have all My Documents & My Pictures for sale for a w.w..w…way to exuberant price on eBay. Which means I/we are starting fresh and will try to incorporate her blog into her new Flash site. I have since been contacted by one friend to possibly do his site and a friend of Judith’s that I ran into, well met at a restaurant actually, said she needs a site and also a friend of hers is looking for one also. So the wheel may be turning.
