Buck 65
So,do I feel old and so out of touch? Glad I am getting a life back and feeling younger. Where has all my interest for new music gone, well time to get back to some great Maritime music. So I heard Buck 65’s last CD a couple of weeks ago, a new one out in September. I promptly went out and bought it and another one. So much fun, new music, especially when it comes from your own backyard.

I copied the following text from his MySpace page…enjoy!!!
I grew up in the country. On Mt. Uniacke in Nova Scotia to be exact.
I like all kinds of music.
I make music to try to make myself and other people happy and/or sad – not to make money.
My first record came out somewhere around 89-90.
I been everywhere, man.
I like old movies and bikes and trains and faces with stories carved in ‘em. And I like baseball.
I’m shy by nature. So if you see me on the street somewhere and I don’t say much, please don’t think I’m a jerk.
I ain’t got no pets.
Beauty is a skill. I don’t care if a good song sounds like crap.
Sometimes when I’m on stage I dance a little because I can’t help it. And sometimes I tell a little story. If you don’t think that’s ‘cool’, I don’t give a rat’s ass.
I can usually figure out how to make a chord or a little line on just about any instrument, but I can’t really play anything.
I have a stupidly huge record collection.
I have a website called buck65.com where I put photos I take and write lists of random things.
I don’t live anywhere.
I don’t know what else to say.
Buck
The following video is from the ECMA’s, I think…enjoy!!!
